She is a native Texan whose roots began just a few miles from Glen Rose in the town of Granbury.  In 2002 Kendra received a bachelor’s degree in Art History at the University of Maine.  It was there that she met her husband, Kevin Fox, and began a family.  After they finished school the couple moved from Old Town, Maine to Austin, Texas.  Kendra stayed at home and worked part-time as a substitute teacher for Grades K-12th.  Through the years their family has grown to include two beautiful daughters:  Marley is six years old and Tessa is 3 years old.  Just before the birth of Tessa the good Lord saw it fit to return Kendra to Granbury, Texas once again.  He provided a home, a great job for Kevin and a welcoming community.  Kendra felt like God was leading her to do His work somewhere and through prayer came an opportunity with a new church in Granbury.  For the past 2 and a half years Kendra has been blessed to serve as the children’s coordinator for StoneWater Church.  God lit a fire in her heart to see families experience the love of our Savior through children’s ministries.  As an overseer of the Birth through 5th Grade children’s programs she could see first-hand what was possible through faith.  The experiences gained through serving God helped take the heart of a young mom and grow her through His mighty love.  Grace Community Church is very special to Kendra’s family.  As a teen she first started to see how real God is in the lives of His people through the lessons taught each Sunday at GCC.  Her late father loved this community and the people of the church and served as an elder.  It is a great honor for her to continue to serve God by coming to Glen Rose and taking on the role as the Pre-School Director.  She is overjoyed to work with such precious children and alongside a family of believers who love the Lord with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength.

Grace Community Church is blessed to have such dedicated and God-centered leadership to equip the next generation to delight in God's glory and minister to children and their families.

"I am first a child of God, a wife to an amazing man, and a mom to 2 beautiful children.  We moved from California 3 1/2 years ago and have been blessed by finding Grace Community Church.  Prior to having children of my own,  I taught preschool children on and off for 7 years. God has given me a love to teach and I feel blessed to be able to share God's word to the next generation.  Last year was my first year at Grace Preschool as a full time teacher.  Since the beginning my son has attended and I have been a substitute helping out from time to time.  I am very excited to see what God will do in the coming years at Grace and I am honored to be a part."

"I have been a mom for 11 years now with a total of four children (5 thru 11) and a preschool teacher for the past two years.  Both of these years at Grace Preschool. I am in awe of what God has done with our preschool and the opportunities He has blessed us with in reaching out to our beautiful community.  I love teaching the little ones as I am a visual thinker and they can not yet read so we do most everything in pictures - it is a perfect fit, for me at least.  Seeing their little faces light up with a 'job well done' is my joy and to glorify Him is my purpose in ministering to the next generation."
