Dr. Joe Wooddell,
Interim Pastor
Dr. Joe Wooddell attended seminary at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ft. Worth, Texas. He has served on staff at two different churches and he has been teaching Philosophy at Criswell College in Dallas for the past four years. Joe and his wife Julie were married in 1998, and they have two sons, Samuel and Micah, and one daughter, Abby. We are grateful to have Joe’s excellent biblical teaching while we continue to search for a GCC’s next teaching pastor. |

Bryan Gaines,

Bryan received his Bachelor's Degree in Administrative Management from the University of Arkansas. He then received his Master of Divinity Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas. He joined the GCC staff in July of 2003. Bryan serves as one of GCC's Care Group leaders, as well managing Grace Preschool, LLC and Grace Biblical Counseling, LLC. Bryan and his wife, Lara, were married in September, 1999. Lara also received her Master's Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Ministry-Based Evangelism & Christian Education. Both Bryan and Lara received certification as biblical counselors through NANC. They are both continuing their education in biblical counseling through The Institute for Nouthetic Studies. The Lord has blessed them so far with two wonderful children, Grace Abigail and Josiah David. |

Chris Blake,

Chris grew up in Oklahoma City, where he attended Southern Nazarene University and received a Bachelor's Degree in Religion. He discovered a call to worship-leading through his college years as his gifting in music united with his love for God. After serving on staff at Grace Covenant Church in Oklahoma City for 5 years, Chris joined the GCC staff in May of 2006. Chris serves as an assistant Care Group Leader and oversees worship and technical ministries. Chris and his wife, Shelly, are expecting their first child in December 2008. Shelly has a degree in Music Education, and enjoys photography and singing. Chris has a desire to see God's people worship Him in spirit and in truth - maintaining cross-centered and biblical content, coupled with freedom of authentic expression. |

Rick graduated from the University of Missouri-St. Louis with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 1989. He received a Master of Arts in Religious Education Degree from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas in 1995. Rick joined the GCC staff in August of 2005 after serving as a pastor for 9 years. Rick also serves as one of GCC's Care Group Leaders. Rick and his wife, Vicki, were married in May of 1995 and they have 3 children: Stacey Dale, Logan and Jordan. Vicki is a stay-at-home mom who homeschools Logan & Jordan. |
